About the Role:

The Pedagogical Leader will be responsible for guiding the development, implementation, and evaluation of high-quality curricula that ignite children's growth and learning. Key responsibilities include providing mentorship and professional development opportunities to educators, fostering reflective practices and innovation. Additionally, the successful candidate will champion research-based teaching methods and tailor approaches to meet the unique needs of children and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate high-quality curricula that foster children's growth and learning.
  • Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities to educators, promoting reflective practices and innovation.
  • Advocate for evidence-informed teaching methods and adapt approaches to meet the diverse needs of children and families.
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives and ensure alignment with regulatory standards, including EYLF and NQF.
  • Cultivate strong partnerships with families, staff, and external agencies to create a comprehensive support system for children.

Requirements:

To succeed as a Pedagogical Leader, you will need:

  • Proven experience leading and mentoring teams in early childhood education.
  • Expertise in curriculum design and a deep understanding of EYLF, NQF, and inclusive education principles.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent), plus VIT registration.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills to inspire and support educators, families, and the community.
