Private Capital Fund Administrator

We're seeking an experienced and highly skilled professional to lead a team of accountants and oversee the administration of private capital funds.

  • Leadership: Manage a diverse team of fund accountants, ensuring exceptional service delivery.
  • NAV Calculation: Oversee the calculation of Net Asset Value (NAV) and maintain the Accounting Book of Records.
  • Client Communication: Act as a primary point of contact for client requests, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Capital Activity: Coordinate and review capital activity processes including capital calls, distributions, subscriptions, redemptions, and share/unit transfers.
  • Investment Activity: Supervise investment activity processing and related payments.
  • Reporting: Oversee the preparation and review of client reporting.
  • Performance Fee Calculations: Manage performance fee calculations including carried interest, waterfall models, and management fees.
  • Onboarding/Offboarding: Coordinate onboarding and offboarding of funds and clients.
  • SLA Monitoring: Monitor service delivery against SLAs and maintain a strong internal control framework.
  • System Enhancement: Participate in system enhancement projects and operational improvements.

Key Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial services industry and accounting, especially on alternatives fund structure.
  • Strong understanding of fund documentation including LPAs and Prospectuses.
  • Solid knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP accounting standards.
  • Excellent communication skills-both written and verbal.
  • High attention to detail, strong analytical thinking, and problem-solving ability.
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to build strong relationships internally and externally.
  • Proven ability to manage responsibilities independently while contributing to team goals.
