Hitachi Construction Machinery is a leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment.

We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to join our team as a Mobile Plant HD Fitter in Bunbury. In this role, your key focus will be to provide breakdown, service and planned maintenance support on a range of construction and mining equipment.

This permanent role offers access to OEM training and the opportunity to build a long-term career with a global company.

To be successful in this role, you will hold relevant Australian (or Australian Recognised) diesel or plant mechanic trade qualifications.

You will also:

  • Embrace and encourage a strong safety culture
  • Have experience, knowledge and understanding of civil and mining equipment
  • Instill a positive work ethic and ability to work autonomously within remote areas
  • Have good communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build long-term relationships
  • Possess sound technical knowledge and diagnostic ability

Technical knowledge of Hitachi mining equipment would be highly advantageous.
