Scientist Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Scientist Specialist to support the delivery of high-quality analytical data in Western Australia.
This fixed-term contract role involves working as part of our analytical team, providing expert support for clients.
Main responsibilities include:
- Compound optimisation and LC method development using automated tools and established processes.
- Coordination of in vitro assay LC-MS/MS support.
- Troubleshooting and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
- Contributing to our Quality System via preparation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Laboratory support including ordering and equipment calibration.
Key skills and qualifications required for this role include:
- A minimum BSc (or equivalent) in a relevant scientific discipline covering chemistry.
- Extensive computer literacy, including Microsoft Office.
- Ability to produce accurate documentation and report analytical activities and results effectively.
- Highly motivated team player with excellent time management skills.
- Ability to learn new techniques and processes at a fast pace.
- Effective communication skills between departments.
Preferred but not essential skills include experience in working with LC-MS/MS techniques and MassLynx software.
