About the Role

We are seeking an experienced caregiver to join our care team. This is a unique opportunity for you to make a difference in someone's life by providing personalized support and enabling them to maintain their independence.

As a caregiver, you will work collaboratively with clients and their families to identify their needs and develop tailored care plans that promote optimal levels of functioning and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care assistance, respite, general domestic support, shopping, social companionship, and accompany clients to medical appointments as required.
  • Support clients in achieving their goals and objectives by following individualized care plans.
  • Work independently and collaboratively with staff and clients to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Contribute to a safe and healthy working environment by adhering to all relevant policies and procedures.
  • Build ongoing relationships with clients and their families to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Manage time effectively and work autonomously to meet the needs of clients.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues to ensure clear understanding and mutual respect.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a caregiver or support worker in a similar role.
  • Demonstrate respect for clients' privacy and dignity at all times.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Hold a current driver's license and have access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Undergo a police check, working with children check, and NDIS worker screening check prior to commencement.
