Job Description

Central Australian Aboriginal Congress is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Aboriginal Family Support Professional to join our team.

About the Role:

The Aboriginal Family Support Professional position will provide liaison and support services to children and their families attending the Child, Youth Assessment & Therapeutic Team. This role is responsible for cultural brokerage, liaison, advocacy, and support for clients, ensuring the coordination and facilitation of children and families for appointments and follow-ups.

About You:

  • You identify as an Aboriginal person, recognised and accepted as an Aboriginal person by the Aboriginal community.
  • You possess excellent communication skills, including fluency in one or more local Aboriginal languages, and the ability to communicate sensitively in a cross-cultural environment.
  • You have proven experience in providing support to Aboriginal Children and families.
  • You hold a current Driver's Licence.

Salary Range: $74,470 - $82,855 (p.a.)

Total Effective Package: Approximately $93,499 - $102,934 (p.a.), inclusive of base salary, district allowance, superannuation, leave loading, and estimated tax savings from salary packaging options.
