Key Responsibilities
  • Reception duties, including telephone reception and booking visits
  • Financial tasks, such as receipting monies and processing prisoner requests
  • Administrative functions, including drafting correspondence and screening visitor applications
  • Processing mail according to organisation policy and procedures

You will be allocated additional duties based on your qualifications and experience. The position is located at Risdon Vale, with a shift work schedule across 7 days a week.

This is a fixed-term position for 12 months or until the substantive employee returns to the role. We offer a range of benefits, including salary packaging and access to a staff gym.

As a Prison Administration Clerk, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Visitor Reception Centre. Your exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to multitask will make you a valuable asset to our team.
