**Job Highlights**

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Engage with Ore L leadership and stakeholders to ensure delivery of plant tailings and decant requirements.
  • Implement deposition and decant plans in alignment with tailings engineering and plant needs.
  • Educate Mine & Production Managers on incidents that impact safety or production targets.
  • Develop strategies to optimize plant production and safety.
  • Manage operating and capital expenditure budgets.
  • Direct process and contract personnel activities, and mentor area supervisors and operators.
  • Contribute to policies, procedures, and competency-based training programs.
  • Collaborate with Water Management to coordinate production and staffing activities.

**Requirements:**

  • Diesel mechanic / fitter background ideal.
  • 5+ years' experience in supervisory or similar role.
  • Skilled in setting objectives and guiding teams through weekly work plans.
  • Strategic planning over 6-24 months with implementation of production plans.
  • Competence in technical tasks: equipment operation, pump servicing, plumbing, and relocations.
  • Experience in cost management and continuous improvement.
  • Knowledgeable in mining industry legislation.
  • Analytical problem-solving and resource management abilities.
  • Proficient in safety, quality, environmental, and maintenance management systems.
  • Skilled in estimating and cost tracking.
  • Experience in disaster mitigation, particularly for bushfires and floods.
  • Ability to read and understand maps.
