Senior Global Finance Strategist

The Group Financial Controller is a leadership role responsible for overseeing global finance operations, shaping strategy, driving performance, and supporting the growth of a successful manufacturing business.
This position will lead the finance team in Melbourne while managing offshore teams across multiple regions. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and global financial operations.
About the Role- Deliver consolidated financial reporting, compliance, audits, and governance across global entities.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, and business performance analysis.
- Manage treasury, cash flow, FX requirements, and intercompany transactions.
- Provide insights to support M&A, investment, and long-term growth initiatives.
- Lead, mentor, and develop local and offshore finance teams.
- Drive continuous improvement and systems optimisation.
- 10+ years' senior finance experience, ideally in manufacturing or industrial sectors.
- Strong leadership skills with proven ability to manage both local and international finance teams.
- Advanced financial modelling, ERP, and analytical capability.
- CA/CPA qualified or equivalent.
