Job Title: Human Factors Director

We are seeking an experienced Human Factors Director to lead our HF function in fulfilling their deliverables and further developing and growing the HF function.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a tertiary qualification in Human Factors, Ergonomics, Systems Engineering, Organisational Psychology or a related field, and a strong understanding or experience within HF Engineering, HF Integration, HF Assurance, Systems Engineering, and Change Management.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the MD and leading the HF function in fulfilling their deliverables
  • Developing and growing the HF function
  • Delivering and influencing HF and change activities to meet project and business outcomes
  • Providing strong team leadership capabilities
About You

We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 10-15+ years' experience in the application of HF methods in one or more of the following industries: rail, aviation, resources, energy, mining.

The ideal candidate will have experience in delivering and influencing HF and change activities to meet project and business outcomes, particularly in the delivery phase of HF and systems integration activities.
