Capital Planning and Strategy Leader

The Capital Planning and Strategy Leader will be responsible for leading the development of strategic capital plans to drive organisational objectives. This role involves providing expert guidance on capital management initiatives, ensuring compliance with governance frameworks, and driving impactful outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing capital strategies, planning, and forecasting to inform investment decisions.
  • Leading the capital reporting process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with governance frameworks.
  • Overseeing capital values, approval processes, and expenditure controls to safeguard data integrity and mitigate risks.
  • Supporting Airline Services Agreements (ASA) by aligning capital investments with obligations and compliance.
  • Managing capital delegations and governance frameworks, ensuring they evolve with organisational growth.
  • Preparing high-quality capital reports for senior stakeholders, providing actionable insights and recommendations.

Requirements for success in this role include:

  • Advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master's or MBA preferred).
  • Extensive experience in capital management, financial reporting, and governance within large-scale construction projects or infrastructure developments.
  • Expertise in financial modelling, reporting tools, and data analysis.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills, with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
  • Strategic mindset, high integrity, and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
