Carpentry Training Specialist

About the Role:
  • This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Carpentry Training Specialist.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality training and assessment services to students in the Hunter Valley region, ensuring their skills are enhanced for real-world applications.
  • Conduct on-site assessments and provide face-to-face support to students, empowering them with hands-on experience.
  • Manage a caseload of trainees and funded students, tailoring training to suit learner needs and driving individual progress.
  • Maintain quality assurance and compliance obligations, upholding professional standards.
  • Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to students from diverse backgrounds, promoting diversity and inclusion.
  • Complete documentation and manage Training Contracts and student progression, facilitating effective communication.

Requirements:
  • TAE40116 or TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
  • Or TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment with upgraded units TAELLN411 Address Adult Language, Literacy and Numeracy Skills and TAEASS502 Design and Develop Assessment Tools or equivalent.
  • Recent industry currency relevant to the industry you'll be teaching in, ensuring relevance and expertise.
  • Willingness to travel to student workplaces when necessary, demonstrating flexibility and commitment.
