Celebrations Manager

Job Opportunity

About the Position:

The Celebrations Manager is responsible for increasing event sales within the hospitality department, focusing on key resort venues, available events spaces, and other areas of the property.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop business strategies to increase revenue and market share across local markets, including corporates, Gold Coast locals, and similar leads.
  • Manage all event sales inbound and outbound within the Hospitality Portfolio, including signature restaurants and bars.
  • Establish and coordinate sales objectives, strategies, and programs, including celebratory and event packages.
  • Lead the reservations team and assist with incoming enquiries.
  • Own the sales process and integrate venues using Delphi and Res Diary.
  • Execute and host regular property events with prospective clients, agencies, and leads.
  • Liaise and build relationships with external providers to offer up-selling options, such as florists, theming, and entertainment.
  • Analyse data and provide tracking and monthly reporting statistics reports on competitor sales activities.

About You:

  • Demonstrated experience in sales, events planning, marketing, and networking in a hospitality or related industry.
  • Able to develop productive relationships with multiple key stakeholders, coupled with effective influencing and negotiating skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.
  • A strong industry network with business development skills.
