Senior Nurse Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Nurse Manager to lead our care team and ensure the delivery of high-quality person-centered care to our residents.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Resident Care: Developing and implementing individualized care plans that address the unique medical, physical, and emotional needs of each resident.
  • Staff Supervision: Managing and mentoring a team of healthcare professionals to provide excellent care and support to residents.
  • Care Planning: Overseeing the development and implementation of comprehensive care plans that incorporate the latest research and best practices in aged care.
  • Medication Management: Ensuring the safe and effective administration of medications for residents, adhering to prescribed schedules and protocols.
  • Families Communication: Providing regular updates and involving families in care decisions when appropriate.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current AHPRA registration.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in aged care as a Registered Nurse.
  • Knowledge of aged care accreditation standards.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience with ANNAC.
  • Expertise in medication administration and wound care with a commitment to ongoing clinical excellence.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • An outstanding proficiency in care planning, goal setting, and evaluation documentation.
