Job Description

At Infinite Care, we take pride in providing industry-leading resident care and services that empower residents to maintain their independence. As a Personal Carer Worker, you will be highly interactive, supporting elderly residents, their families, and colleagues 7 days a week across AM, PM, and Nightshifts.

We offer shifts in strength & conditioning physio, 1:1 companion support, memory support, engagement and wellbeing, and medication shifts with in-house training programs and buddy systems. Our goal is to create a safe, compassionate, and timely environment for our residents.

This role based at Ashmore aged care home on the Gold Coast requires you to work closely with the nursing, hospitality, and resident engagement teams while performing your resident-centric care duties.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Aged Care Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) is essential.
  • Excellent safety awareness to avoid our residents tripping, falling, or hurting themselves - you need to be their extra eyes and ears.
  • Very positive teamwork attitude, a trusted co-worker, excellent time management (we are a shift-driven workplace including handovers), and follow strict safety procedures at all times to maintain a high standard of workplace safety.
  • Great communication skills to engage with our elderly residents in a calm, patient, and highly empathic manner that builds trust, companionship, and friendship in a warm style.
