Global Corporate Counsel

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Corporate Counsel to join our dynamic Legal and Compliance team at TEG, a global leader in live entertainment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing robust legal support to underpin commercial outcomes and develop strong business partnering relationships. This includes drafting contracts with artists/athletes, talent managers, agents, venues, partners, sponsors, and suppliers according to specific client needs.
You will also advise on the regulatory environment and legislative changes, including intellectual property law, consumer law, and privacy/data protection. Additionally, you will identify and escalate legal and compliance issues and risks, ensuring adherence to our Group policies and processes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Drafting and negotiating contracts
- Providing legal advice on regulatory matters
- Identifying and escalating legal and compliance risks
- Liaising with external providers and regulatory agencies
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Admission as a legal practitioner in NSW (or other Australian State)
- Up to 2 years' experience within a corporate/commercial department of a large law firm and/or similar in-house experience
- Excellent commercial acumen and plain English drafting and communication skills
- Comfortable prioritizing workload and operating in a fast-paced corporate environment
Our competitive salary package includes an estimated $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience. You will also have access to a range of benefits, including complimentary tickets to selected events, birthday leave, volunteering leave, and more.
