We are seeking a skilled and experienced Corporate Counsel to join our team at TEG, a global leader in live entertainment.

Teg is a dynamic and innovative company that connects fans to unforgettable experiences and businesses to their audiences. With operations worldwide out of seven country offices, we proudly partner with some of the world's largest and most iconic venues as well as leading event promoters globally.

This exciting opportunity allows you to leverage your expertise in corporate law to advise on the regulatory environment, intellectual property law, consumer law, and privacy/data protection. You will work closely with other legal team members and key business partners to provide robust legal support and develop strong business partnering relationships.

About the Role
  • Draft contracts with artists/athletes, talent managers, agents, venues, partners, sponsors, and suppliers according to specific client needs.
  • Advise on commercial outcomes and develop strong business partnering relationships.
  • Identify and escalate legal and compliance issues and risks.
  • Liaise with external providers and regulatory agencies as needed.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Admission as a legal practitioner in NSW (or other Australian State).
  • Up to 2 years' experience within a corporate/commercial department of a large law firm and/or similar in-house experience, preferably within a consumer service provider, e-commerce/technology or live entertainment business.
  • Excellent commercial acumen and plain English drafting and communication skills.
  • Comfortable prioritizing workload and operating in a fast-paced corporate environment; multi-tasking is a must.
Salary and Benefits
