Landscaping Assistant Required

Abelia Landscaping Services are seeking a skilled grounds maintenance professional to join our team.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities and a passion for maintaining high-quality outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the appearance of gardens, parks and other outdoor areas through regular mowing, pruning and edging.
  • Operate various machinery including lawnmowers, leaf blowers and hedge trimmers in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Conduct general maintenance duties such as cleaning walkways, fixing fountains and other tasks as required.
  • Uphold the landscaping design and ensure plant growth is optimal.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve objectives.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
Requirements:
  • A valid manual driver's license is required.
  • A Chemical User Certificate or relevant training is essential.
  • Machinery tickets are required if using machinery.
  • A current Police Check within 12 months is preferred.
