Facilities Maintenance Specialist

This role plays a key part in ensuring that our outdoor spaces are well-maintained, requiring attention to detail and a commitment to high-level maintenance.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining facilities to the highest standard
  • Working effectively in a team environment
  • Contributing positively to the team
  • Developing and maintaining industry experience relevant to municipal horticulture
  • Providing effective communication skills
  • Meeting qualification requirements for horticultural trade certificate or equivalent training
  • Obtaining necessary certifications and licenses
  • Understanding relevant laws and policies applicable to certified gardeners

Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining facilities and resources, working effectively in a team environment, contributing positively to the team, maintaining industry experience relevant to municipal horticulture, providing effective communication skills, meeting qualification requirements for horticultural trade certificate or equivalent training, obtaining necessary certifications and licenses, and understanding relevant laws and policies applicable to certified gardeners.
