Accelerating Malaria Elimination: A Research Opportunity
This position offers a unique chance to contribute to world-class research aimed at accelerating malaria elimination across the Asia-Pacific and the Americas.
We seek an experienced professional to lead the development of analytical frameworks combining molecular and epidemiological data to model Plasmodium transmission chains, particularly in low endemic and outbreak-prone settings.
The successful candidate will support the implementation of molecular surveillance tools, co-supervise junior researchers and postgraduate students, lead publications, and play a key role in securing competitive research funding.
About You- You have a PhD or equivalent postgraduate qualification in a relevant field with a record of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
- You possess strong proficiency in programming (e.g., R, Python).
- You have experience with genomic data analysis and Bayesian inference frameworks.
- You have a strong publication record and experience supervising students or junior researchers.
- You have excellent communication skills and the ability to work in diverse, multidisciplinary teams.
