Lead Communications Strategy for Red Bull

The Head of Communications will spearhead the development and execution of communications strategies across Red Bull's Media Network. This role requires a seasoned professional to position and deliver an effective communication message across various media channels, including social, web, TV, radio, and print, to bring the brand image to life and make Red Bull relevant to target audiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement earned media activation, influencer amplification, and high-frequency editorial relationships to drive positive brand conversations.
  • Coach and develop talent within the Communications team, playing a leadership role in the Marketing team and wider business on communications matters.
  • Support field activation teams by creating and managing content asset needs and distribution across earned, managed, and owned channels.
  • Manage corporate communications, including product, crisis, and consumer affairs.
  • Build and maintain relationships with heads of departments and Global Headquarters counterparts to achieve alignment and business success.
  • Lead a senior communication professional with extensive media contacts within Australia.
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in Communications, PR, or Marketing in Media-led companies.
  • A proven track record in leading teams, projects, and securing brand reach and engagement via earned media amplification.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a Media-related field is required.
  • Travel 0-10%.
