Project Manager Opportunity

This role offers a unique chance to lead and manage complex redevelopment projects. Your primary objective will be to oversee and implement key retail and mixed-use construction projects, ensuring timely delivery and maximising value for stakeholders.

You will support the Project Director in delivering high-quality redevelopment projects. Your responsibilities will include managing construction, tenant coordination, and project outcomes.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have strong leadership experience in fast-paced project environments. You must also have advanced contract negotiation and administration skills, as well as expertise in managing large-scale, sophisticated construction projects.

The ideal candidate will have qualifications in Project Management, Construction, or a related field. They will also possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills, and the ability to manage contractors, consultants, and internal teams effectively.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage construction, tenant coordination, and project outcomes
  • Lead and manage the tender process using innovative procurement strategies
  • Achieve stakeholder sign-off on designs and various stages of development
  • Oversee the appointment and negotiation with consultants and tenants
  • Play a vital role in commercial and contract management, ensuring positive outcomes
  • Coordinate with consultants and contractors to meet design, technical, and quality specifications
  • Perform value engineering to maximise development returns while minimising disruption to operational centres
  • Ensure strong risk management and safety performance throughout the project lifecycle
  • Essential Qualifications:
  • Qualifications in Project Management, Construction, or a related field
  • Critical Skills & Attributes:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage contractors, consultants, and internal teams effectively
  • Proficiency in managing budgets and financial forecasting
  • Demonstrated leadership and the ability to foster collaboration and teamwork
