We are seeking a highly skilled labourer to join our team in a casual-based role with the opportunity to shift across to full-time work for the right candidate.

The ideal applicant will have experience working in a landscape construction environment, with a strong ability to operate a variety of equipment and tools. They will also possess excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a keen eye for detail.

Job Description

This position involves completing a range of tasks, including:

  1. Landscape duties such as turfing, retaining walls, and fencing.
  2. Hard landscaping projects, including paving, drainage, and irrigation systems.
  3. Operating a variety of mechanical equipment, including trailers, chainsaws, laser levels, and grinders.
  4. Safely operating vehicles such as light trucks and trailer combinations.

The successful applicant will be required to maintain a clean and safe work environment, complete paperwork in line with company standards, and interact with clients on a daily basis.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:

  1. A minimum of three years' experience in landscaping or a similar construction industry.
  2. Literacy skills and a working knowledge of landscaping standards.
  3. Strong communication and job planning skills, as well as mechanical aptitude.

A background in carpentry or landscape experience is highly regarded.
