About the Role :

We are currently seeking an experienced Landscape Trade Assistant to join a high-performing team for a 6-month full-time contract . This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in landscaping or construction who is looking to build a long-term career in the trade.

You'll be working on a range of residential landscaping projects across the Queensland Coast, assisting with both hard and soft landscape construction.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Assist with hard and soft landscaping tasks on-site
  • Operate bobcats and excavators (must hold valid operating tickets)
  • Perform site preparation, soil works, turf laying, paving, and retaining walls
  • Use hand and power tools for a variety of landscape construction tasks
  • General labour duties and site clean-up
  • Follow all WHS protocols and safety guidelines

Key Requirements

Experience assisting with landscaping and construction tasksWillingness to learn and develop skills in :

Retaining walls (block, concrete sleeper, sandstone)

Fencing (timber, Colorbond, aluminium)Decking (timber and composite)Minimum 1 year of experience in the landscaping or construction industryValid tickets to operate bobcats and excavatorsQLD Construction White CardValid Australian Driver's LicencePhysically fit and capable of manual outdoor work
