About the Opportunity

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Landscape Trade Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for landscaping or construction who is looking to build a long-term career in the trade.

You'll be working on a range of residential landscaping projects across the Queensland Coast, assisting with both hard and soft landscape construction.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Assist with hard and soft landscaping tasks on-site
  • Operate heavy machinery such as bobcats and excavators (must hold valid operating tickets)
  • Perform site preparation, soil works, turf laying, paving, and retaining walls
  • Use hand and power tools for a variety of landscape construction tasks
  • General labour duties and site clean-up
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines

Key Requirements

Experience assisting with landscaping and construction tasksWillingness to learn and develop skills in :

Retaining walls (block, concrete sleeper, sandstone)

Fencing (timber, Colorbond, aluminium)Decking (timber and composite)Minimum 1 year of experience in the landscaping or construction industryValid tickets to operate heavy machineryQLD Construction White CardValid Australian Driver's LicencePhysically fit and capable of manual outdoor work
