Internal Communications Lead

As a key member of our corporate communications team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive internal communications strategy that aligns with our organisation's goals and values.

The role involves collaborating closely with various functions and operations to ensure effective communication across the organisation. You will lead a small team in developing and executing high-impact communications campaigns, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation and continuous improvement.

You will have the opportunity to work with senior stakeholders, including C-suite executives, to develop and execute strategic communications initiatives. Your expertise in crafting compelling narratives and delivering clear, impactful messages will be invaluable in achieving organisational objectives.

To succeed in this role, you will require exceptional verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong team leadership skills. A proven track record in developing comprehensive communication strategies and engaging internal stakeholders is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement an internal communications strategy aligned with organisational goals and values.
  • Lead a small team in developing and executing high-impact communications campaigns.
  • Collaborate closely with various functions and operations to ensure effective communication across the organisation.
  • Work with senior stakeholders to develop and execute strategic communications initiatives.
  • Measure performance and continuously improve communication channels and content.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years' experience in a similar communications role within a large, complex business.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong team leadership skills.
  • Proven track record in developing comprehensive communication strategies.
  • Ability to craft compelling narratives and deliver clear, impactful messages.

About You:

You will ideally have experience and demonstrate capability in the following areas:

  • Strategic communications planning and execution.
  • Team leadership and collaboration.
  • Communication channel development and management.
  • Stakeholder engagement and relationship building.

Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree in a related field such as journalism, communications, public relations, business or related disciplines.
