Job Description

As a Linesperson Overhead HV, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our power distribution network. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Substation upgrades – Kiosk, Chamber, and Pole Top installation.
  • Overhead and line construction to meet the increasing demand for electricity.
  • Underground operations – Trench excavation and cabling to provide safe and efficient transmission services.
  • High and Low Voltage Asset Relocation to optimize network performance.
  • Earthing grid installation to ensure electrical safety and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • ASP Level 1 – Construction of Network Assets certification.
  • Distribution Overhead and Distribution Cable Jointing expertise.
  • Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician (or equivalent).
  • Certificate III in ESI – Power Systems knowledge.
