Civil Construction Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our project team in Victoria Park. The successful candidate will play a key role in the initial setup of our Rare Earth project, including reviewing the scope of works and executing all civil activities on site during construction.

The ideal candidate will have a customer-centric mindset, strong value of safety, and clear written and technical skills with demonstrated capability in commercials, budgets/construction metrics, and change management.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning, managing, and tracking civil activities and processes
  • Fostering relationships with internal and external customers to ensure contractual requirements are met
  • Assisting with project progress claims
  • Sub-contractor/Supplier management
  • Ensuring activities are carried out in accordance with the company's Quality Assurance, Environmental Management, and Safety Management System and other relevant standards and legislative requirements
  • Assisting with the preparation of regular financial and progress reports
  • Managing project commercials, budgets/construction metrics, forecasting, and change management
  • Ensuring project objectives are being met with regards to schedule, cost, and technical performance

The successful candidate will have previous experience working in a civil engineering position, developing project/construction schedules and work packs, completing progress reporting, and monitoring milestones. They will also have a strong innovative approach to problem solving, continuous improvement, and successful delivery methods.
