Infrastructure Systems Integration Specialist

About the Role

As a key member of our IT team, you will play a vital role in providing production support, implementation, and design services to our business lines. This includes coordinating integration between IT systems and infrastructure specialists on approved development projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing timely and effective production support within regular working hours and responding to urgent issues outside of these hours;
  • Conducting thorough evaluations, reviews, and making recommendations for upgrades, enhancements, and improvements for future-proofing and compatibility with existing middleware/messaging, API, and file transfer infrastructure;
  • Installing, configuring, implementing, maintaining, and documenting software solutions such as IBM MQ-series, Microsoft BizTalk, Apigee Edge, and RedHat Fuse and their related components;
  • Automation via continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines;
  • Providing technical expertise to development and infrastructure projects;
  • Maintaining comprehensive documentation of systems, fault resolutions, and incident investigations;
  • Testing new software releases, patches, and upgrades to ensure seamless integration;
  • Windows and UNIX scripting around automating interfaces, interface monitoring, and file transfers to improve efficiency;
  • Proactively managing Incident/Problem Reports, including after-hours on-call support;
  • Developing and maintaining accurate, up-to-date Technical, Procedural, and User documentation.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in CDC Automation;
  • Proficiency in Windows and Linux/UNIX environments;
  • Track record of success in API, integration, and messaging support roles;
  • Experience with MQ, BizTalk, and/or Apigee technologies;
  • A customer-centric approach with excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively;
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced organization.

Bonus Points:

  • Previous work experience in banking, financial services, or the agricultural industry would be beneficial but is not essential for this role.
