Fixed-term Casual Employment Register

This register aims to provide the Magistrates Court with a pool of suitable applicants for roles such as Administration Officer or Court Clerk on a casual or fixed-term basis.

Flexible working hours will be considered, but availability during court sittings is essential. Previous training, experience, and qualifications in a court environment are not required.

These opportunities are not current vacancies but potential future possibilities that require customer service, administrative and clerical duties such as handling enquiries, scheduling court matters, registering documents, and recording outcomes.

The role involves coordinating and recording court proceedings, working closely with magistrates and court users, and performing related administrative tasks. Success requires resilience, attention to detail, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates must pass pre-employment checks, including assessments for various crimes and serious traffic offences. Additionally, previous disciplinary actions will be reviewed.

What We Offer:

Competitive salary range: $66,766 - $71,857 per annum/pro rata (General Stream Band 2)

Salary range: $74,783 - $80,835 per annum/pro rata (General Stream Band 3)
