PR and Influencer Account Director

Description:

A leading integrated communications agency is seeking a PR & Influencer Account Director to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing bold, culture-shaping campaigns that leverage PR, influencers, and earned-first strategy.

You will lead strategic earned and influencer campaign plans, provide senior counsel to clients, and oversee junior teams to implement specific PR and Influencer strategies.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a strong understanding of local trends and news, excellent media relations skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive earned and influencer campaign plans.
  • Provide senior-level counsel to clients on media outreach, influencer management, and social media amplification.
  • Oversee junior teams to implement specific PR and Influencer strategies in response to client objectives.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends and best practices, applying them as appropriate to client programs.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in consumer PR and influencer marketing, ideally from an integrated comms agency.
  • Excellent media relations skills and a strong network of contacts across all mediums (including digital and social).
  • Solid understanding of local trends and news that may affect the PR industry or clients.
  • Strong public speaking/presentation skills and experience in new business pitching.
  • Excellent time management skills, financial literacy, and attention to detail.
