Electrical Maintenance Specialist

As a key team member, you will play a critical role in supporting the underground electrical maintenance department at our mine site. Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor, your primary objective is to ensure all completed works are safe and compliant with standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Support our asset management policy and standards, ensuring accuracy in records of work required/done on all work orders
- Contribute to achieving high-quality results to meet or exceed maintenance KPI targets
- Collaborate with Supervisor/Planners to maintain up-to-date Pronto data
- Gain expertise of underground assets including fixed plant materials handling, hoisting systems, drill rigs / 1kV and 415/240V auxiliary equipment
- Perform fault finding and calibration of instruments including weight, pressure, temperature, and distance
- Assist with High Voltage (HV) Network switching, adhering to High Voltage Isolation and Access Requirements
This role requires prior experience working in an underground mining environment with various fixed plant assets. A safety-focused mindset and a can-do attitude with a willingness to accept individual responsibility within a small team are essential.
