Job Title: Automotive Electrical Specialist

We are seeking an experienced automotive electrical specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute planned and reactive maintenance tasks on mining equipment
  • Work with a range of machinery including Sandvik loaders, development drills, production drills, Atlas Copco compressors, generators, and pumps
  • Conduct routine repairs and servicing in workshop and field environments
  • Maintain health, safety, and regulatory compliance standards
  • Identify potential risks throughout the operation
  • Share technical knowledge and best practices with team members
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A nationally accredited Automotive Electrical Trade Certificate
  • A C-class driver's license
  • An Automotive Cert II Air Conditioning license with regulatory knowledge
  • Qualifications such as S1, S2, S3, and HRWL for forklift and OH Gantry Crane are highly regarded
  • Minning industry experience is essential, along with expertise in OEM diagnostic tools, fault-finding, and adjusting parameters
  • You must be proficient in reading auto electrical schematics, diagnosing air-conditioning faults, and conducting system repairs
