Job Overview

This role involves working in various settings such as cocktail parties, superyachts, private homes, festivals, and more. Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering exceptional customer experiences by engaging with guests, recommending drinks tailored to their preferences, and ensuring a memorable experience.
  • Serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
  • Setting up the bar area, packing down, and restocking as needed.
  • Supporting the rest of the service team as required.
  • Greeting customers and taking orders in a timely manner.
  • Maintaining the safety and cleanliness of the allocated section (glassware, mixology equipment, and cellar).

To succeed in this position, you will require:

  • A current RSA competency card.
  • A passion for people and the hospitality industry.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of current bar and industry trends.
  • Previous experience working at private homes is desirable.
  • Sound knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits.
  • The ability to be the host and manage timelines effectively.
