Breakfast Program Delivery Assistant

Delivering healthy breakfast meals to schools in need is a rewarding experience. As part of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that children receive the nourishment they deserve.

We believe that every student deserves a chance to succeed in education and develop healthy eating habits. Our program maximises behavioural outcomes in the classroom, enhances student engagement, and positively impacts academic performance.

The Role of the Breakfast Driver
  • Deliver food supplies and occasionally white goods to schools within a 100km radius.
  • Drive a refrigerated five-speed manual ute and a two-pallet refrigerated truck.
  • Undertake manual tasks such as lifting, stacking, packing, loading, and storing items.

You will also assist with cleaning and maintaining the warehouse, vehicles, and equipment, as well as supporting and directing volunteers, students, and visitors.

Requirements for the Position
  • Possess an open manual driver's licence.
  • Extensive driving experience, preferably as a delivery driver with a background in metro area deliveries.
  • Able to undertake manual tasks.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Good communication, customer service, and numeracy skills.
  • Possess a current Blue Card (working with children check) or have the willingness to obtain one.
  • Possess a current National Police Check or willingness to obtain one.
