About the role

We are currently seeking Catering/Cafe and Canteen Assistants to be part of our client's esteemed private girl's school located in Hobart, TAS.

Shift Schedule

  • Multiple morning and afternoon shift across Monday to Friday from 9.00am till 2.00pm.

*The successful applicant must have a current Working with vulnerable people or be willing to apply for it. *

Skills and Experience

  • Experience in a commercial kitchen highly regarded.

  • 1 years' experience in a Barista role.

  • Reliable and punctual

  • Collaboration and teamwork

  • Ability to multi-task and perform work within deadlines.

  • Respect towards Students, staff and clients.

  • The ability to support the chefs and the team in a busy kitchen.

  • Must have reliable transport.

Key Responsibilities (Full Training Provided)

  • Assisting with preparing, sorting and packing of student lunches

  • Adhering to and completing quality assurance documents

  • Washing dishes in the main kitchen and plating of meals

  • Function set up and clear down.

  • Assist the Chef and Chef Manager as required in preparation of food/beverages.
