Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Leader to oversee the delivery of a complex water project at our operations. This role offers a unique opportunity to drive environmental outcomes and improve stakeholder satisfaction.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project governance, leadership, and execution, including final technical design confirmation, contractor engagement, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover. Strong project management expertise and technical engineering discipline knowledge are essential in ensuring this critical initiative is delivered safely and efficiently.

This position can be based in Mount Isa or Brisbane, offering a competitive salary package and career development support.

We require a qualified professional with a Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering and relevant experience in infrastructure, civil, mechanical, or environmental remediation projects. Excellent communication and reporting skills, as well as a proactive mindset, are highly valued in this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the project team to achieve project objectives
  • Develop and implement project plans and strategies
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards
  • Maintain effective relationships with stakeholders and contractors
Requirements
  • Certified Project Manager (CPM) or equivalent certification
  • At least 5 years of experience in project management or a related field
  • Strong technical knowledge of engineering principles and practices
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
