Position Details

As a psychologist at Connect2Care, you will become part of a multidisciplinary team. You will deliver evidence-based services to clients through various service delivery models, including telehealth, community visits, and center-based sessions. Referrals may originate from the NDIS, Medicare, or private sources. This role is mobile, allowing for work from home or our hubs when not engaged with clients. Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting assessments and providing interventions for children and adults with diverse disabilities
  • Collaborating within the NDIS framework to enhance clients' functional abilities, capacity, and social participation
  • Assisting clients with evaluations, recommendations, and applications related to assistive technology (as applicable)
  • Maintaining timely documentation and report writing
  • Managing a diverse caseload
  • Meeting professional expectations set by the company (e.g., achieving billable hours and effective client management)
  • Participating in meetings, supervision, and professional development (as required)
  • Building relationships with key stakeholders, including therapists, clients, and referral sources
  • Utilizing leading software platforms and online tools

New Graduate Program

Connect2Care has designed a comprehensive New Graduate Program to facilitate a smooth transition for recent graduates entering the workforce. This program provides robust support, equipping new professionals with the skills necessary for a successful career. Spanning over 12 months, the program begins as soon as you join our organization.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must possess or be able to obtain the following:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in a related field
  • Discipline-specific professional registration (e.g., AHPRA/SPA)
  • Working with Children Check (WWCC or Blue Card)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Police Check & International Police Check (if applicable)
  • Driver's license & access to a reliable vehicle
  • Car insurance
  • Professional Indemnity & Public Liability insurance
