Key Responsibilities

This role involves processing nominations for honors and awards in accordance with service policy and award criteria.

You will provide administrative support to the Honours and Awards Committee, other relevant internal award committees, and where required to other areas.

Responsibilities include preparing case papers and other documentation for consideration by the Honours and Awards Committee, senior management and other relevant internal and external award committees.

Also, you will manage the preparation of certificates of service and undertake other duties as directed by the Assistant Commissioner, People Capability Command.

Additionally, you will enter and maintain database records relating to Honours and Awards.

Research and provide information on honours and awards issues and associated matters.

Support in arranging award presentation ceremonies attended by the Minister, Commissioner, senior police executives and other dignitaries.

Prepare correspondence, submissions, reports, awards and citations for senior management, including letters for signature by the Commissioner.
