The Role

We are looking for an experienced leader who will take ownership of our US tax product suite.

The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and delivering a strategy that harnesses AI and automation capabilities.

The role involves partnering closely with Design and Engineering to set a compelling direction and ensure brilliant execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Becoming an expert in Xero's products and understanding their future direction.
  • Diving deep into customer needs through research and insights to shape our product roadmap.
  • Crafting brilliant solutions and testing innovative ideas.
  • Building strong relationships across product functions and with cross-functional peers.
  • Driving product strategy and playing an active role in developing our product line.
  • Managing risks, developing roadmaps, establishing delivery cadences, and ensuring a smooth end-to-end lifecycle for our products.
  • Monitoring commercial and customer results and continually identifying opportunities for improvement.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with diverse stakeholder groups to achieve customer and commercial outcomes.
  • Experience defining product roadmaps and long-term planning.
  • Ability to influence outcomes in various contexts.
  • Understanding of the SaaS / Fintech / Accounting industry.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and leading a cross-functional team to deliver customer and business outcomes.
