Job Title: Restaurant Operations Manager

Job Summary:

Ausphin Recruitment Pty Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Volcanos Steakhouse Blacktown. As a Restaurant Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring that all aspects of the business are running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and plan menus with Chefs and other kitchen staff to ensure that the menu is aligned with the restaurant's brand and customer preferences.
  • Oversee, coordinate, and organize special functions and large bookings to ensure that they are executed flawlessly and meet the high standards of the restaurant.
  • Plan the purchase and pricing of goods in accordance with the restaurant's budget to ensure that costs are minimized and profits are maximized.
  • Keep records of stock levels and financial transactions for the restaurant to ensure that the business is operating within budget and that any discrepancies are identified and addressed promptly.
  • Ensure that the dining, restaurant, and kitchen spaces adhere to health regulations and are clean, functional, and suitable for customers.
  • Communicate with customers to receive feedback about their dining experience and implement changes to improve customer satisfaction.
  • Promote the restaurant brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events to increase customer loyalty and attract new customers.
  • Take reservations, greet guests, and assist in taking orders to ensure that customers have a positive experience.

Requirements:

  • AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma in a relevant field, or at least 3 years of relevant experience may substitute for these formal qualifications and requirements.
  • At least 3 years of experience managing a restaurant and working in the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with customers, staff, and suppliers.
  • Ability to work under pressure and during busy dining periods in the restaurant.
  • Organisation and time management skills to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Proficient management and leadership skills to motivate and direct staff to achieve business objectives.
  • Conflict and dispute resolution skills to resolve any issues that may arise in the workplace.

What We Offer:

A competitive salary of $70,000 - $75,000 per annum, depending on experience.
