Student Grievance AdvisorA Role in Student Affairs

Are you a student affairs professional looking for a new challenge? Do you have experience in providing advice and support on organisational policies and procedures?

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Student Grievance Advisor. In this role, you will provide an advisory and complaints resolution service to the University community in relation to student complaints and appeals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and assess reported incidents concerning student behaviour
  • Work with stakeholders to address matters
  • Support misconduct referrals under the Student Misconduct Policy
  • Provide guidance on University complaint processes
  • Negotiate outcomes and refer students to appropriate University support services

Requirements:

  • Substantial experience in providing advice and support on organisational policies and procedures
  • High-level verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to analyse data and make recommendations
  • Well-developed interpersonal communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience in responding professionally to complex customer requests and managing conflict
