Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Grounds Maintenance Specialist to join our team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors and has a strong attention to detail.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the grounds of council reserves across the municipality, including mowing, detailing, litter removal, and weed spraying.

In addition to performing routine maintenance tasks, the Grounds Maintenance Specialist will also be required to operate and maintain machinery safely and accurately record all work completed.

  • Maintain the appearance of council reserves by mowing, detailing, and removing litter

  • Report any issues that may impact service delivery
About You
  • Must hold a valid C Class Manual Licence
  • Ride on Mower experience in council controlled sites is highly regarded
  • Current White Card and Working with Children check or willingness to obtain
  • Ability to operate Zero Turn Mowers, brush cutters, and small power equipment
  • Knowledge of herbicide applications and techniques
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently
  • Willingness to obtain a National Police Check
