Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our team in carrying out electrical maintenance, fault-finding, and minor installations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial or industrial electrical maintenance and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out electrical maintenance, fault-finding, and minor installations
  • Respond to equipment breakdowns and support a range of complex airport systems
  • Assist with airfield lighting and commercial operations maintenance
  • Use CMMS to log and track work
  • Keep the technical workshop to high safety and housekeeping standards
  • Take part in on-call rotations and rostered shifts
  • Support special projects and maintenance planning activities as needed
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • NT Electrical Fitter/Mechanic Licence
  • Experience in commercial or industrial electrical maintenance
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostics capability
  • Airside Driver Licence – Category IV (or willingness to obtain)
  • Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Solid understanding of electrical plans and schematics
  • Comfortable working autonomously and as part of a team
  • Willingness to work a rotating roster with on-call duties
