UGL plays a crucial role in supporting the Australian Defence Force across 100 locations nationwide.

This opportunity supports national security requirements of the Nation.

The Electrical Technician will perform scheduled maintenance and service of fuel installation assets and equipment, diagnostics and repair in a breakdown environment of fuel related assets and equipment, project work as required on the fuel installation and related assets and equipment, support subcontracted work packages as required, and support various sites in the NT Region, with occasional requirement to travel to various sites throughout NT.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform scheduled maintenance and service of fuel installation assets and equipment
  • Diagnostics and repair in a breakdown environment of fuel related assets and equipment
  • Project work as required on the fuel installation and related assets and equipment
  • Support subcontracted work packages as required
  • Support various sites in the NT Region, with occasional requirement to travel to various sites throughout NT

To be successful, applicants must have strong team player skills, self-starter mindset and dedication to delivering high quality outcomes.

We expect the successful applicants to hold:

  • Cert IV Instrumentation and A-grade electrical licence with relevant post trade experience
  • Proven experience working in fixed plant maintenance, ideally fuel services or Oil & Gas
  • Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Areas (EEHA) trained
  • Confined space and working at heights tickets highly regarded
  • Safety paramount in all aspects of their work
  • Defence Security Clearance currently held or ability to obtain
