Job Role Overview

The primary objective of this position is to prepare concrete and timber sub-floors for the installation of timber and laminate flooring.

This role requires an individual who can work independently, reporting directly to the Installation Manager. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conduct site visits across Melbourne to accurately prepare sub floors for flooring installation in accordance with established company standards.
  • Maintain effective communication with Building Supervisors and other trades in a professional manner, relating to completed jobs and ongoing works.
  • Collaborate with members of the installation team as required.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience in subfloor preparation or relevant industry expertise (e.g., tiling, plastering, concreting etc).
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills (written, verbal, listening etc).
  • Attention to detail.
  • A positive attitude and reliability.
