About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director to lead our Specialist Investment Vehicles team. As a key member of our Commercial Investments Division, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on legislative and governance matters related to specialist investment vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team providing advice on legislative and governance matters related to specialist investment vehicles
  • Provide guidance on best practice administration for all SIVs and assess aggregate risks
  • Work closely with investment vehicles such as the Clean Energy Finance Corporation, Australian Renewable Energy Agency, and Housing Australia
  • Contribute to the development of policy and guidance documents, including the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 and the Commonwealth Investment Framework
About the Team

Our team is responsible for maintaining the governance and legislative frameworks in accordance with international standards. We work closely with government agencies, industry stakeholders, and other partners to deliver critical funding to enable industry to deliver on priority policy outcomes.

This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, contributing to important policy work relating to the Australian Government Investment Funds (AGIFs). You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of stakeholders, including government agencies, industry stakeholders, and other partners.

Requirements
  • Australian citizenship
  • Minimum baseline security clearance
  • Relevant experience in policy and governance, preferably in the public sector
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
