About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Surveyor to join our Technical Services team in Ipswich City Council. As an Engineering Construction Surveyor, you will be responsible for providing surveying services to our Construction Section of the Capital Delivery Branch.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain control networks for construction purposes
  • Read and interpret Engineering plans
  • Conduct survey setout for civil works on site
  • Maintain appropriate quality assurance and data management practices
  • Adhere to industry and organisational OH&S standards
  • Facilitate the survey pickup and processing of as constructed data, in accordance with councils Ascon guidelines
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • An excellent fit with our values of communication, collaboration, integrity, efficiency and leadership
  • A current Class C driver's licence
  • An Associate Degree in Surveying (or equivalent Qualifications) or substantial industry experience in the field of Surveying
  • The ability to be registered as an Associate, Graduate or Surveyor with the Surveyors Board Queensland
  • Experience with the use of 12D and Leica or Trimble survey equipment
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
