Job Summary:

As an Irrigation Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and safety of irrigation systems across parks and sportsgrounds. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a positive safety culture and adhere to our procedures.

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining pressurised irrigation systems, undertaking regular inspections, audits, and reactive repairs, as well as setting up and managing flow systems and watering schedules.

  • Key Responsibilities include: Operating pressurised irrigation systems, performing regular inspections and audits, conducting reactive repairs, setting up and managing flow systems and watering schedules, training team members in irrigation best practices, maintaining turf surfaces to a safe standard, and engaging with internal teams and residents to ensure high service standards.

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Irrigation Technology or Horticulture
  • MR Driver's Licence
  • Experience in commercial irrigation maintenance
  • Knowledge of central irrigation software systems
