Job Title: Project Manager II, Commercial Construction

This role is for an experienced construction professional to lead projects from preconstruction through final closeout.

  • In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring all safety compliance and quality programs are being executed on the project site.
  • You will actively participate in bidding and pre-construction services, representing the client as their primary contact, establishing trust and rapport with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
  • Maintain strict control over the project schedule, ensuring ongoing profitability.
  • You will execute subcontracts and purchase orders, approve subcontractor invoices and change requests.
  • Mentor and train Project Engineers and Assistant Project Managers to ensure their ongoing career growth and development.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of seven (7) years of relevant construction operations experience, with experience managing distribution center and/or light industrial manufacturing construction projects.
  • A bachelor degree, preferably in construction management, engineering or a related field.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 20%.
  • Effective communication skills to motivate your team, delegate tasks, and present proposals to clients with competence and confidence.
  • The fortitude to juggle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
